A 15-year experience
Our story
Pierre-Etienne ROINAT, Benoit VARIN, Cédric MAUCOURT and Antoine JEANJEAN founded Recommerce in 2009. Sharing the belief that used products still have value, the company is committed to making the tomorrow's more sustainable by contributing to the building of a circular economy, fighting against waste and to enable sustainable tech for everyone.
Since, the company has diversified its products and services, and has become a multibrand and multi-product platform in over 25 countries in Europe.
Building circular economy
Recommerce's core business is to buyback used products at fair prices from individuals and companies to extend their lifespan, by setting buyback programs and Remarketing services all across Europe.
All products are then tracked and refurbished according process which respect international standards like ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ISO 27001 delivered by DNV, an external assesment Organization and the RECQ Label "Refurbishment of Quality" issued by RCube and verified by DEKRA Certifications.
The company offers various resale and remarketing solutions for refurbished products across multiple channels to enable retailers to join the circular economy and consumers to equip themselves responsibly, such as www.recommerce.com, our B2C resale solution.
European expansion and leadership
As a pioneer in the industry, Recommerce Group has shaped buyback, trade-in and refurbishment in France and opened offices in 10 European countries. Recommerce became the first European player to offer its services for the buyback, refurbishment, and sale of refurbished and guaranteed products in more than 25 countries.
